Donating to Africa Action

Africa Action depends on thousands of individuals who donate anything from a few dollars to a few thousand dollars each year to enable us to continue our work. We do not accept U.S. or foreign government funds, and we do not have big corporate underwriters to support our work. Many individuals give through the Combined Federal Campaign and state and local campaigns for which we qualify. Our work requires the support and trust of the public and this shapes how we manage every aspect of our work. Africa Action is audited each year by an independent accounting firm. Expenses for administration and fundraising in 2005 were less than 25%.

1. Donate Online

You can donate online through a secure connection today. Choose to be a student supporter, Africa Action supporter, Africa Action partner or Solidarity supporter. You can also make a gift to honor or memorialize a friend or family members. You can also make a a recurring donation, which provides predictable, steady support. The payment amount you select above will repeat on an ongoing basis. You may modify or cancel anytime.

3. Give through the Combined Federal Campaign: CFC #11384

Africa Action is eligible for Combined Federal Campaign, because we spend less than 25 percent of their income on overhead, making your contribution go directly towards our efforts to end global apartheid. Federal and military employees can contribute to AFRICA ACTION through the Combined Federal Campaign. When you receive your pledge card at work, you simply write in the 5-digit CFC number for Africa Action, which is: 11384

4. Give through United Way: If you work for a company with a United Way campaign,

If you work for a company with a United Way campaign, you may be able to support Africa Action through United Way. The advantage of doing so is that you can often have your gift deducted from your paycheck. Giving $5 a week becomes a $260 gift!
